Il secondo giorno dell'esposizione virtuale delle foto di Lee Miller e' dedicato a questa stupenda immagine di guerra. Uno scatto in grado di trasmettere il senso tangibile della distruzione e del dolore senza mostrare alcun tipo di violenza. Un'immagine che cattura l'attimo con incredibile precisione, pur rimanendo formalmente perfetta in termini di composizione. Paragonata alle immagini piu' famose di Cartier-Bresson o Capa, i cosidetti padri del fotogiornalismo, questa foto si staglia come un capolavoro assoluto.
