Beside the nudes, that are in my opinion definitively his highest artistic achievements, Cranach is particular impressive in depiction of battles and fights. The woodcuts of tournaments are beautiful, and the struggle between Hercules and Antaues above is magnificent...

A parte i nudi, che a mio avviso sono le sue opere migliori, Cranach colpisce particolarmente nelle sue raffigurazioni di duelli e battaglie. Le sue incisioni di tornei cavallereschi sono bellissime, e la lotta tra Ercole e Anteo qui sopra e' semplicemente magnifica...
